Brilliant little gadget What a fantastic find. Wish I had seen it years ago, have used this for baby tortoises on cold nights at the end of the season as they heat comes from above, which is much better for them than heat mats. A good solid, well made product A great alternative to heat lamps and much cheaper than electric hens. I especially like the fact that the chicks are in natural light all the time, as it is a dark light, not light the usual bright heat lamps.
