This amazing book guides you through the process of building your own tub style poultry plucker from common bits of "junk". If you've resourceful, you may only need to purchase the plucker fingers themselves. This book isn't for the novice but ideal for someone with practical skills in basic woodwork and electrical work. The end result will be a machine that plucks a chicken in around 15 seconds, in fact it will pluck 3 or 4 at the same time. Simply drop scaled birds into the machine, switch on and then rinse clean. This book tells you everything you need to know to easily build your own Whizbang Poultry Plucker.

American homespun technology never ceases to amaze I found this book to be highly informative - a veritable mine of detail. I've got the drum, motor and 4X2 timber. Just a few more items and I'll be ready for this year's poultry harvest. It will be 'goodbye' to plucking birds in the field and letting the wind take away the feathers. Tom - Maenclochog
Good Service not had time to read through the book properly, however it seems to have clear and precise instructions, looking forward to building it. Chris - North Wales
exellent service -
Clear and concise The book is clear and well written. The author tells you where he has made the mistakes and how he's corrected them. It's a shame that the hard to make parts are not available except from the US. If they where I'm sure there would be many more people growing birds for home use. Stephen Grime - Shropshire
Great service -
Good book You need to some diy skills, some tools and the abilty to work out the pulley ratios as the ones quoted are for american motors which turn at a differnet speed. But if you can cope with that it's a great guide to building a useful machine. Dave -
Herrick Kimball, Chicken Plucker I am half way through building the above and it is a big beast! But if you have confidence in your own abilities then anyone can build it. Stormdog - North Norfolk
