SHELL MAX is formulated to improve shell thickness and strength during periods of nutritional stress. This product is a liquid product which is added totally independent of the feed, thus side stepping the feed intake, reducing effects of stress, temperature, mineral imbalance and feed separation. SHELL MAX can be used to improve shell quality by providing soluble calcium, sodium bicarbonate and other micro elements which are necessary for correct enzyme function.
APPLICATION:
For every 5 litres of drinking water use 1ml of SHELL MAX . The dose of SHELL MAX is most effectively given during the second part of the photo period, but it can be given safely at any time of the day. The treatment period should be not less than 7 days, after which the shell problem should be evaluated and treatment reintroduced if necessary.

Its not a quick fix! I have a hen who has been laying soft shells since before April,I have used a different make of calcium suppliment before but it worked out very expensive.Since buying "shell max" her shells have hardened up quite a bit although they are very fragile when you touch them. This is much better value. -
Shell Max Since started adding this to water have had few soft shelled eggs but am not sure it can work that soon so maybe other factors involved. Sounds expensive but use such a small amount, it is quite economical. -
Satisfactory results Have a pullet that lays large eggs with a tendency to poor quality or on some occasions, soft shelled eggs. Since using this product daily the soft shelled eggs have ceased and the overall quality has improved. H Syddall - Ribble Valley
Remarkably fast results! A lot of our 'girls' were laying soft-shelled eggs. Mistakenly; we thought that grit was the answer, or we were feeding too many kitchen scraps.
